Parents & Family Programmes

The parents and family programme can be done in a number of ways. Most commonly, it is used as an opportunity for the children who have taken part in the day to come back with their parents and siblings.

Within the programme, the children initially demonstrate to their parents what they have learned during the day and talk about how they are going to use it to improve their skills in the future. The programme then opens out into a wonderful hands-on challenge, with puzzles that the families will solve together. Generally, there are 90 minutes of puzzles - some schools build in a snack supper as well! You will also have the Puzzle Shop open for the parents.

You can have a maximum of 10 teams - with up to 8 people on each team.

Other schools will use the programme as a fund-raiser and will make a charge for the family members who attend.

Given that the capacity of the programme is 80 people, the fundraising aspect can often be quite lucrative.
