Escape The Smart House
Escape The Smart House is a brand-new concept in school challenge workshops which has been devised in partnership with Playroom by SMART.
What is Escape The Smart House?
Sitting at the front of the hall is The Smart House. Students then have the length of the workshop to try and escape the house by solving a series of hands-on 3D challenges and team skills. Room by room, students aim to solve challenges in their teams, and with each challenged solved, they get part of a clue which will help them unlock a final padlock to escape.
All of the resources used in the programme encourage team skills, problem solving, maths skills, logical deduction as well as resilience. This new and original concept brings all the fun of an escape room into your school hall.
We understand that the learning doesn’t stop as soon as your booking is over. That’s why, as part of every Escape The Smart House booking, we also give your school three months free access to The Playroom by SMART which is an online portal developed with teachers in mind. Your students can take part in a range of digital challenges, chosen by skill or subject, and the best part is that through the teacher’s portal, you can monitor progress, select daily challenges and help students develop skills by utilising the challenge by skill section of the portal. This is a brilliant new digital way to make learning fun, and your school gets free access for a limited time with every booking of Escape The Smart House.

“We have hosted The Happy Puzzle Company a few times now and their latest Smart Thinkers programme took everything to the next level. The students were engaged from start to finish, and the staff were impressed by how well the students collaborated on the tasks. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Happy Puzzle Company to any other school.”

“It has been just over three months since our puzzle day with you. Your workshops have without doubt made our students, from Reception to Year 6, much more resilient and they are embracing new challenges with confidence.
