The role of a Puzzle Day Presenter involves running Puzzle Challenge Days in mainly primary and secondary schools, all across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. They will be responsible for setting up and the running, fun educational problem solving programmes for children from Reception students right up until A Level in a very enthusiastic and confident way. The role would have the candidate working with large numbers of children in a school environment where a knowledgeable and general understanding of subjects such as thinking skills, mathematics, the National Curriculum and Special Educational Needs would be an advantage.
 
The role also requires the selling of our range of resources within the schools to both teachers and parents. With training, they are expected to have a good understanding of our different resources, be knowledgeable about prices and be able to inform staff about their application and uses in schools. In addition, the role includes the running of parents’ programmes during and after school as well as in-service (INSET) training programmes as required. On average, they should expect to be running three of these extra programmes per term. For those times during the school holidays where the applicant would not be running Puzzle Challenge Days, they will be required to carry out a range of office and warehouse duties at our main office in Elstree, Hertfordshire.
 

The applicant would need to hold a full manual drivers licence, (preferably clean but we would consider an applicant with minimal endorsements) and must be willing to work in all areas of the United Kingdom with provided transport and paid expenses. All applicants must be over the age of 21 to be covered under our company insurance and due to the fact that we work in schools, all applicants will undergo a full enhance CRB check. In essence, we are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills with both children and adults, someone who is very confident, enthusiastic, resourceful and dynamic who is able to work within a team and independently.
